DVD CCA is providing an option to CSS interim licensees to extend the termination date of its license to December 31, 2000. This option is available only to CSS interim licensees. New CSS licensees need to complete the CSS License Procedure.
It is important to note that while an interim licensee may extend its interim license to December 31, 2000, the terms of the extension require payment of 5,000 US dollars per license category on or before October 1, 2000. The extension is not effective if payment is not made by October 1, 2000.
